Villa Kyyhkynen is located in Rovaniemi, Ounasvaara, in the middle of nature, but close to the city center. The location in Rovaniemi doesn´t get any better than this.

From Villa Kyyhkynen, it is about 1 km to Lappi Areena and Santasport Lapland Sports Institute, 2,6 km to Timberjack bridge, about 3 km to the golf course, 4,1 km to the science center Arktikum, 7 km to Rovaniemi Airport and 11 km to Santa Claus’ main post office.

The holiday home includes a patio, free private parking and free Wi-Fi. The holiday apartment has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, shower and sauna, separate toilet, living and dining area and kitchen,

There are good skiing opportunities in the vicinity of the holiday home, and you can ski directly to the door of the holiday home. In the summer season, Ounasvaara has, for example, a bikepark and good and comprehensive trail networks for mountain biking and hiking in the vicinity.

GLASS IGLOO - Ollero Eco Lodge

The modern Glass Igloo lies on the Ounasjoki riverbank, a few quick steps from the Main Lodge. The igloo has a double bed and a composting eco-toilet.

The mobile unit can be moved to make the best of seasonal changes in nature: during summer and autumn, the igloo floats on the small Ollero pond and is accessed by a rowing boat. You can swim from your private floating deck, go paddleboarding along the river or take a walk in the arctic forest.

There is no better place to experience autumn foliage than the Glass Igloo. And of course, the arctic winter has its icy magic with starry skies and the Northern Lights.

The Main Lodge comes with a well-equipped kitchen, a wide dining table, a lounge with a fireplace, a bathroom and a shower. The lounge area in the Main Lodge is perfect for relaxing by the fireplace after enjoying the smoke sauna. Please note: to access the bathroom and shower, you need to take a couple of steps outside on the veranda.

Sleeping Cabin is quiet and cosy comfort for a good night’s sleep. Sleep tight inside the thick log walls and wake up refreshed for a bright new day. Four people sleep comfortably in the Sleeping Cabin and its two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms comes with a double bed and the other with a big bunk bed. Both rooms have their unique features and characteristics, and the building’s timber walls and plank floors and ceilings guarantee top quality air inside. Kindly note: the other bedroom is up on a loft and may not be suitable for guests with physical disabilities. The Sleeping Cabin has an eco-toilet.

Ollero Eco Lodge sleeps 6 people (8 with extra beds) in a quiet location just outside the city.

In case you want your accommodation with plenty of room, luxurious furnishing, comfort and memorable details in the best location of the Santa Claus Village, you have found the right place.

The log house has two floors and comprises two large apartments, one apartment on each floor. Apt. 1 has two separate bedrooms and Apt. 2 has three separate bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining area, so the apartments accommodate even for larger families. Apartments can also be connected, so you can also book the whole house (200 m2) by booking both apartments at the same time.
